Use this mount if you want to under-sling your camera on your Dana Dolly. Setup the Dana Dolly as normal, then mount this riser to the underside of the dolly. Mount your fluid head to this riser and you'll be able to clear the dolly wheels and track. Alternatively, use this to raise your camera up an additional 6" beyond what your stands or apple boxes will get you or use with any other Mitchell mount (car mounts etc).
